Be Prepared – Part Two

| 17th November 2015

The puddings are cooked and the hampers are planned out

We had a great time at the Country Living Christmas Fair last week, there were hundreds of stalls selling all kinds of food treats, gifts and decorations, our demonstrations went well and I even bought four Christmas presents! As we began in our last post, we are going to continue with the pattern of featuring ‘Something for You’ – an inspiring Christmassy event and ‘Something for Them’ – great gift ideas. You can find our full series of Festive Top Tip Films on our Christmas Page along with full details of all our Christmas courses.

Pritchard + UreSomething for You

This weekend we are looking forward to joining the team at Pritchard + Ure Cafe in the Camden Garden Centre  for a Cookery Demo on Saturday 21st November, 9am.

We will be showing you how to make both stollen and mincemeat allowing you to get busy in the kitchen over the next few weeks so that you are nice and prepared with home made festive treats as the big day approaches.

This is a FREE event which you can register for on Eventbrite, there are limited numbers, so if you’d like to try once of our mince pies with some great coffee – bag yourself a ticket…

Something for Them

Our friend Helen May has developed the most delightful range of hand made gifts that would make perfect presents from her studio in Winchester. Her degree in Woven Textile Design has taken her to work with Cath Kidston for a while before launching her own range available at local fairs and events or online. You can find out more about Helen here, and check out her Etsy Shop here.
