The Christmas season has officially begun, so said Classic FM this morning, and I’ll be starting this week in style at Olympia London.
I’m bringing the Christmas chapter of my book to life as I host The Christmas Corner at the Ideal Home Show Christmas, 26th -30th November.

I’m all packed up and ready to run four different demonstrations each day encouraging us all to have a more sustainable Christmas. I’ll be making wreaths, puddings, fruit liqueur, linen crackers and so much more!

Other news:
  • We’ve brought our not-so-little lemon tree indoors for the winter – it has 5 or 6 large fruits starting to turn yellow!
  • Our bees are getting confused with the temperatures dropping from 17c to 1c in just five days – I’m checking on them to make sure they don’t run out of food stores in the hive
  • Our first batch of mincemeat this season is really rather special – It’s saved for making mince pies for our festive course guests
