Ten years ago today, after training as @BreadAngels, my good friend @katrosbaxtros and I *accidentally* opened a bakery… We worked hard, baked loads, and met many fabulous faithful customers - our bread even won a couple of Great Taste Awards ⭐️⭐️
During the Covid pandemic, our microbakery was the main business of Hen Corner.
Now after baking for over a thousand customers we’ve decided to focus on teaching, equipping and empowering people to bake their own brilliant bread, learning skills for life that will feed them forever.

We had the best afternoon at @cotswoldsdistillery learning how they distill and age their award winning spirits. As designated driver, I loved the low alcohol Dry Gin Essence with tonic *and* my goodie bag of tasters, whilst @wardybits loved the whisky and slept in the car all the way home…

*This Saturday* is our last opportunity of the season to join us for Family Feathers & Fun, our London chicken keeping course for families.

Whilst there will be treats and crafts for the children, our time together will give a good introduction to keeping chickens in an urban garden.

Our time together will include:

• The needs of the chickens, and their daily, weekly and monthly care.
• You will have the opportunity to handle a hen
• Questions over tea and cake
• Each family goes home with course notes, a certificate and a goodie bag!
